Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan came out on the streets of Bhopal to collect toys for the children of Anganwadi. In the Ashoka Garden area, he himself went among the general public with a hand cart and got toys and other things for the Anganwadis. Giving support to the public, materials like toys, sports items, TV screens, coolers, water campers, utensils, rugs were handed over to CM Shivraj.

CM Shivraj was walking to collect toys with hand carts decorated with flowers and people standing on both sides of the road were supporting this initiative of CM and giving essential things including toys to the CM from their side. Chief Minister Shivraj told that the enthusiasm of the people about this campaign was so much that it took me more than 3 hours to cover the distance of 800 meters. My hands got atired while taking the goods. About 10 truckloads of goods have arrived for Anganwadis, which will be distributed in 1800 Anganwadi centers of Bhopal district.

In addition to the goods for the Anganwadis, an amount of about Rs 2 crore has come. Also, people have given undertakings for adoption of Anganwadis in large numbers. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar supported the campaign by tweeting. He announced Rs 1 crore for Anganwadis and adoption of 50 Anganwadis. At the same time, Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi and poet Kumar Vishwas have also supported this campaign.
