Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 14 (NT): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate a  most anticipated 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' from Ujjain city today.

 Worth mention here Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah will flag off the political event at 2:30 pm at Rajmata Scindia Stadium here after offering prayers at the most poular Mahakaleshwar Temple.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday launched the high-tech chariot by offering pooja rites for the triumph of the trip.

During the 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' which will bring to a close here on September 25, the chief minister is likely to address a number of public gatherings covering all the 230 Assembly segments in the state.

On a related note the Assembly Elections in Madhya Pradesh are due later this year.

It should be noted that while the Saffron BJP is eyeing fourth consecutive term in the state, the opposition grand old Congress party is making every possible effort to get back power in the state after 15 years.

Two vehicles are converted into chariots in Pune. The chief minister performed a puja of the vehicles. One of the chariots will be used in central Madhya Pradesh and the Malwa and Nimar regions. while the other one will be used in the Bundelkhand, Mahakaushal and Vindhya regions. State BJP spokesperson Rajnish Agrawal informed.
