The Chief Minister also said, "There has been a catastrophe. The 'infrastructure' worth thousands of crores of rupees have collapsed. Infrastructure related to roads, bridges, power supply, power substations, transformers and communication systems has collapsed. The water came at a very high speed. We could not save the rest of the things.''
Further, CM said, "An inter-departmental team of ministers will be formed to ensure that the collector does not work only for relief in the destruction. In addition, efforts will be made for the road, bridge, culvert, and other related works for relief and rehabilitation in flood-affected areas. Houses should be constructed for those whose houses have been demolished at a cost of 1.20 lakh rupees. The government will also provide 50 kg of foodgrains immediately for the affected people.''
At the same time, he also said, "The damage caused by the floods will be surveyed soon. Government to compensate flood victims for clothes, utensils, and wet foodgrains. One lakh 20 thousand rupees compensation will be given to those whose houses have been demolished. Government to pay 30,000 rupees compensation for cattle deaths, 10,000 rupees for calf deaths. 25,000/- for damage to the well-tube well. A compensation of 60 rupees will also be given for the loss of poultry.''
