Bhopal: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan organised a green resolution ceremony ahead of the madhya pradesh civic body elections. In this, BJP's mayoral and councillor candidates resolved to increase the greenery. On this occasion, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also released the Sankalp Patra for the civic body elections. It promises to include cleanliness in the syllabus of class 5th.

During this period, a total of 6,523 candidates, including a total of 6 thousand 507 councillor candidates of BJP and 16 mayoral candidates of municipal corporation, took green pledge by planting saplings together. In the same BJP's Sankalp Patra, many populist promises have been made. It is being seen as an attempt to hold the assembly elections. The key points of the resolution paper include operation of 3,000 new buses in all the 16 municipal corporations, the promise of running metro trains in Bhopal and Indore by next year, an investment of Rs 50,000 crore in the next five years on urban development and sanitation management. Sewage system will be provided in all cities with a population of more than one lakh and fecal sludge and sewage management in small towns.
 
The same BJP's election promises talk about environmental sanitation and development of the green belt. Residents of illegal colonies will get facilities. Will promote E-rickshaws autos. Planned parking will be constructed in the master plan. Now, the survey of property tax will be done from drones. The maintenance fee in the society will be less. All government offices will have solar panels. All the wards will have sports complexes, gyms. Each city will have a library with a free Wi-Fi. It will also have PDFs of books, newspapers and periodicals. Additionally, over 600 Sanjivani clinics will open. Affordable high quality pathology diagnostic centres will be built.
