Bhopal: Today the death anniversary of Gopal Krishna Gokhale is being celebrated. In such a situation, the Chief Minister of the state Shivraj Singh Chouhan has bowed down to him and paid a humble tribute. You all must know that Gopal Krishna Gokhale was the biggest source of inspiration for the youth. Along with this, he is also considered the political guru of many politicians, including the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Today, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has tweeted on his death anniversary.


In a tweet, he wrote that 'I pay tribute to the death anniversary of Gopal Krishna Gokhaleji, the father of the ideology of Indian political and social thought, who gave life to the fulfillment of the vow of the liberation of India's independence.' With this, he further wrote, 'Your virtuous and noble thoughts will always inspire the younger generations to serve the nation.' Mahadev Govind Ranade's disciple and thinker Gopal Krishna Gokhale's understanding of financial matters and the ability to reason logically on them was unmatched. For this reason, he is known as the 'Gladstone' of India.

Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (Pune), also commonly known as Gokhale Institute, is the oldest and reputed institution in India where only members of the Servants of Indian Society would be made trustees of this institution.
