Bhopal: Punjab politics is in turmoil and BJP is constantly cornering the Congress in view of this. In Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh first resigned as chief minister. Navjot Singh Sidhu then resigned as the Chairman of the Punjab Congress Committee and now former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh's meeting with the Home Minister in Delhi has shaken the whole of Punjab. It is being said that Punjab is going to change drastically soon.

Amidst all this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has targeted Rahul Gandhi in Punjab over the ongoing crisis in Congress. He said, "Rahul Gandhi is sinking the Congress and as long as he is there, BJP does not have to do anything.'' Addressing a rally in Prithvipur recently, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, "Rahul Gandhi is drowning the Congress. A well-established Punjab government has been toppled. Captain Amarinder was removed because of Sidhu. Now Sidhu has also fled. We have nothing to do as long as Rahul Gandhi is there.''

He further said, "Captain Amarinder Singh was the Chief Minister of Punjab, I don't know what Rahul thought that Captain was removed and sent to Channi Ji in Sidhu's affair. Now Sidhu has also left and fled. They toppled a well-running government.'' He further said, "The Congress has put the country in danger and thrown Punjab into the fire of instability.''

With this, on Kanhaiya Kumar joining Congress, Shivraj said, 'This Congress is recruiting Kanhaiya Kumar. Those who are facing sedition cases, Rahul Gandhi and Congress should be ashamed. Where will they take the country, Congress is deciding its own path to sink. He said that this is a party that destroys the country, now even the public will not leave it.'
