Bhopal: The Central government has reduced the price of petrol and diesel by giving Diwali gifts. Now, after the Central Government, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also announced a reduction in petrol prices. He tweeted and said, "Despite economic difficulties, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has historically reduced diesel and petrol rates. I heartily congratulate him for his decision to reduce excise duty and provide relief to the people.''

At the same time, he said, "In Madhya Pradesh also, we have decided to reduce the rate to further reduce the price of diesel petrol, which will come into effect from Deepawali day today.'' Let us tell you that before Diwali, the central government has cut the price of petrol by Rs 5 and the price of diesel by Rs 10. Recently, the central government had requested the state governments to bring relief to the common man by reducing the rate of VAT.

Now taking a decision on this, the state government has taken this step. On Wednesday, November 3, the price of petrol in Indore was Rs 118.79 per litre and that of diesel was Rs 107.93 per litre. However, after the concessions given by the central and state governments, now the price of petrol has come down to Rs 110 and diesel by Rs 95. Similarly, the price of petrol in Bhopal can be Rs 110 and the price of diesel can be Rs 95. With this, the new price in Gwalior is also likely to remain the same in the meantime.
