The controversy of the documentary movie 'Kaali' has now come up in Madhya Pradesh as well. An FIR has been lodged against TMC MP Mahua Moitra for making controversial and objectionable remarks on Mother Kali in the capital Bhopal. Mahua has called Mother Kali the goddess who accepts wine and meat.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said on Mahua Moitra's statement that her statement has hurt Hindu religious sentiments. Insulting Hindu gods and goddesses is not going to be tolerated at any cost. A case has been registered against Mahua Moitra at the Crime Branch police station in Bhopal for hurting religious sentiments under Section 295A of the IPC.

Mishra had asked to withdraw the poster: Home Minister Narottam Mishra on Tuesday also took a tough stand on the poster of the documentary movie Kali. He has said that the documentary film Kali is very objectionable. It shows our Maa Kali smoking a cigarette. I'm trying to ask Leena Manimekalai why do we make a movie on our gods and goddesses?  She has the courage to make a movie on the gods of another religion. It is objectionable. I will ask for an FIR on this. We will consider how the film should be banned in Madhya Pradesh. If they don't remove the posters immediately, we are going to take strict action.
