Rani Durgavati was born on 5th October 1524 at Kalingar Fort (Banda, Uttar Pradesh). Rani Durgavati's father's name was Kirat Rai and her husband's name was Dalpat Shah. At the same time, Veernarayan was his son. Rani Durgavati had the distinction of ruling Gondwana for 15 years. She attained heroic speed on June 24, 1564.
