Bhopal: A cabinet meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. It approved the name of the Professional Examination Board as the Staff Selection Board. The Commission will function under the General Administration Department. Briefing reporters about the cabinet decisions, Home Minister Narottam Mishra said, the post of vice-chairman of the Employment Generation Board of the Technical Education Department was also approved to be given to a non-government person.
In addition, the MP Startup Policy 2022 has been approved. Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that in-principle approval has been given to the Narmada Expressway proposal. A proposal to include it in the Bharat Mala Project will be sent to the Central Government. Narmada Express will start from Amarkantak and go up to Jhabua. The 906-km long expressway will connect 12 roads of the state.
The state government has sanctioned Rs 50 lakh for training to equestrian Faraz Khan for the 19th Asian Games. Faraz will be training and preparing for the Games in Germany. It was also approved to open a new ITI at Barwa in Khandwa. Mishra said that user free toll charges have been approved on 17 routes under the Road Development Corporation. This fee will be charged only on commercial vehicles. The individual vehicle will not be charged.
