Ranchi: Around two dozen people, including 11 policemen, were injured in the violence that broke out in Jharkhand's Ranchi on Friday over Nupur Sharma's remarks. It is now reported that two of the injured persons died on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Mudassir alias Kaifi. The other's name is Mohammad Sahil. Both the deaths have been confirmed by the RIMS hospital administration. The hospital administration said that the injured persons were admitted here, in which two persons died. Both were shot during the violence. Many injured persons are still undergoing treatment.

In fact, violence erupted at many places in the country on Friday after Nupur Sharma's remarks on Prophet Mohammad, suspended from BJP. There were incidents of stone pelting and arson at many places in Jharkhand after Friday prayers. Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren's statement has come to the fore after the violence that broke out in the state. "This matter is definitely a matter of concern for us," he said. People of the state should maintain restraint and do not indulge in any kind of crime. Soren said, at this time we are going through a tough test, but we need not lose patience.

In view of the violent protests in Ranchi, curfew has been imposed in the entire city. Earlier, curfew was announced in only a few areas here. In view of the fierce protests in Ranchi, internet services have also been suspended permanently. Due to the demonstration in Jharkhand, SSP, SP City, DSP City, Daily Market station in-charge and some other policemen who were controlling the situation were injured. According to reports, 11 policemen and 12 protesters were injured. He is being treated in several hospitals. According to Jharkhand Police, the situation is under control at present. Force has been deployed. Senior police officers including IG, Superintendent of Police, DSP are camping in the area.
