Ranchi: Around two dozen people, including 11 policemen, were injured in the violence that broke out in Jharkhand's Ranchi on Friday over Nupur Sharma's remarks. It is now reported that two of the injured persons died on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Mudassir alias Kaifi. The other's name is Mohammad Sahil. Both the deaths have been confirmed by the RIMS hospital administration. The hospital administration said that the injured persons were admitted here, in which two persons died. Both were shot during the violence. Many injured persons are still undergoing treatment.

Due to the demonstration in Jharkhand, SSP, SP City, DSP City, Daily Market station in-charge and some other policemen who were controlling the situation were injured. According to reports, 11 policemen and 12 protesters were injured. He is being treated in several hospitals. According to Jharkhand Police, the situation is under control at present. Force has been deployed. Senior police officers including IG, Superintendent of Police, DSP are camping in the area.
