The hockey team's players- Ms. Rani Rampal, Savita Punia, Deep Grace Ekka, Nisha, Gurjit Kaur, Salima Tete, Udita, Monica, Nikki Pradhan, Neha, P Sushila Chanu, Vandana Kataria, Navneet Kaur, Navjot Kaur, Sharmila Devi, Lalremsiami, E. Rajni, Reena Khokar and Namita Toppo have been felicitated. The Indian hockey team had done very well in the Tokyo Olympics and this was the first time an Indian women's hockey team had reached the semi-finals.
