Preparations begin for Kumbh in Uttarakhand, CM Trivendra approves Rs 28.30 crore

Dehradun: State Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has allocated Rs 28.30 crore for the next year Kumbh Fair at Haridwar in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Simultaneously, preparations for the Kumbh Mela have also intensified. Under Kumbh Mela, 1229.61 lakhs have been sanctioned for the construction and evacuation work of 11/04 KV sub-station in temporary, parking spaces, 11 KV line, LT line, Path light.

SDBC has given financial approval of 169.69 lakhs for the renovation of Bahadarabad-Dhanori-Imlikheda-Bhagwanpur road in Haridwar for 463.12 lakhs for 08 works related to the drinking water system. SDBC has been renovated by CM Trivendra Singh Rawat for drinking water supply and maintenance and efficient work of Daksha Island Sector under Kumbh Mela-2121, Rs. 189.95 lakhs have been released for work of Puhana-Iqbalpur-Jhabrera-Gurukul Narsan Road, 187.96 lakhs for renovation, strengthening and decoration work of State Guest House (Dam Kothi) at Mayapur, drinking water supply and maintenance of Bairagi Sector and 129.54 lakhs for allied works.

97.19 lakh for the renovation of Piran Collier Link Road in Haridwar by SDBC, 96.97 lakh for the maintenance of 3 temporary bridges and approach road/ramp located at Har Ki Paidi, Haridwar, 43.96 lakh for 9 construction works of temporary parking in various sectors, Daksheshwar. 44.89 lakh has been allocated for construction of temporary bus station as well as Rs 42.13 lakh for the safety of Triveni Ghat in Rishikesh, installation of chain pillar and restoration of damaged red stone.
