The sudden convening of a cabinet meeting on the eighth day of the start of the Maharashtra Political Crisis has heated up the market for discussions in the political corridors. Soon after, Chief Minister Thackeray had a phone conversation with Sharad Pawar. Soon after the discussion on the situation arising out of the revolt of the Eknath Shinde faction, the CM called a cabinet meeting at 5 pm.

It is being said that before the meeting, Uddhav Thackeray had once again become emotional and made up his mind to announce his resignation again today.
