Kochi: Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has levelled a serious allegation against the Sudhakaran of Kerala's PCC president and Congress Lok Sabha MP. He has said that Sudhakaran once planned to kidnap his child. Vijayan, speaking to press personnel on Friday (June 18, 2021), claimed that P Ramakrishnan, the late local leader of Kannur of the Congress, who was a close friend of Sudhakaran, had met him (Vijayan) at his home in Kannur several years ago.

The Congress leader had advised him to be vigilant and said that Sudhakaran was planning to kidnap Vijayan's two children. Vijayan said he did not tell anyone, including his wife, as he would have been afraid of it. Their children were going to school during that time. In fact, in a recent interview, K. Sudhakaran shared memories of his college days. He had said that Vijayan was assaulted in a political clash on the college campus during tension at Brennan College in Thalassery, Kannur. Let us tell you that both P Vijayan and K Sudhakaran were former students of the same college.

However, CM Vijayan dismissed the incident of assault on him and said that he had gone to college to appear for the exam during the incident. Some left student activists had picked up Sudhakaran after he joined the case. P Vijayan also recalled several earlier remarks made by some Congress leaders against Sudhakaran.
