Desikendra Swamy of Srisail Sarang Math in the Indian state of Karnataka demanded that a BJP MLA be made a minister in the Yeddyurappa government. He warned Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa that if the MLA is not made a minister within a year, then 10 of his supporting MLAs will resign.

Desikendra Swamy of Srisail Sarang Mutt in Kalaburgi, Karnataka, demanded BJP MLA Dattatreya Patil Revoor of Gulbarga to be made a minister. Swamy says that if the Yeddyurappa-led government does not make Dattatreya a minister, then at least 10 BJP MLAs from Kalyan-Karnataka region will resign.

For your information, let us tell you that this threat of Swami has increased the difficulties of Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa. He has warned the government that if the BJP wants to complete the remaining term of its three years, then Dattatreya must be made a minister. If the government does not do so, Yeddyurappa will not return as Chief Minister for at least 30 years.
