CM Yogi Adityanath and Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav are coming together to Rampur today to woo the voters of Rampur in their favour. Rampur is considered to be the stronghold of SP MP Azam Khan and the party is campaigning without him this time. Because Azam is in jail and contesting from there.

In Rampur today, CM Yogi Adityanath will hold a public meeting in Patwai to seek votes in favour of BJP candidates, while SP national president and former CM Akhilesh Yadav will ride a victory chariot to campaign for his party in several areas. CM Yogi's visit to Rampur is considered to be very important. CM Yogi is scheduled to address an election rally at Patwai in the Milak assembly constituency today.

In fact, Kalyan Singh had a tremendous hold in the Patwai area and people here used to call him Babuji. It is said that Kalyan Singh also used to come to Patwai in almost every election.
