New cancer hospital to be built in Lucknow amid corona epidemic

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has announced the construction of a new cancer hospital in Lucknow on Saturday amid the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic. The Yogi Government of the state has also ordered setting up of a dedicated Covid hospital at the Cancer Institute, Lucknow. In addition, instructions have also been given by the CM office to increase the number of doctors and covid beds in all government hospitals in the state.

The Chief Minister's office has informed that the new cancer hospital in Lucknow will be released soon. With the emphasis on development, CM Yogi has ordered continuation of the war against corona epidemic infections with all seriousness. He has said that all efforts are being made by the Government to bring down the rate of corona infection by four per cent and mortality rate below one per cent.

Earlier on Friday, it was announced by the state Government that accredited journalists doing journalism in the state would also be given financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh on death from corona epidemic and health insurance up to 5 lakh.
