Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath government on Friday took a major decision on the Krishna birthplace in Mathura Vrindavan. The Yogi government has declared a 10 square kilometers radius of the birthplace as a pilgrimage site. Tell you that the area covers 22 municipal ward areas, which have now been declared pilgrimage centers.

Earlier last month, CM Yogi Adityanath had also celebrated Janmashtami in Mathura, the birth city of Sri Krishna, after which the decision to declare it as a pilgrimage site is considered crucial. Yogi Adityanath, who attended the Janmashtami celebrations, had visited Lord Krishna when he reached Krishna Janmasthan. In Mathura, CM Yogi had said that earlier MLA to greet the festival, CM did not come here and those who were afraid to go to temples earlier are now saying that Ram belongs to me, Krishna is also mine.

Tell you that the development of pilgrimage sites in UP is underway. Facilities in Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mathura, etc. are getting better than before. The construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is going on a war footing following the Supreme Court verdict a year and a half ago. The construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is expected to be completed by 2024.
