Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday (24th July) said that accountability of officials will be fixed in cases related to Shahberry, Yamuna Expressway, Noida and Grader Noida Industrial Development Authority. Strict action will be taken against the officials who are negligent in these cases.

In addition, CM Yogi has also instructed them to file FIRs against 30 builders who have illegally developed colonies in Shahberry and played with the lives of thousands of people and sent them to jail under the NSA. The CM Yogi has said that a list of officers involved in ground cases should be prepared so that strict action can be taken against them. CM Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with officials at Lok Bhavan on Wednesday on issues related to Noida, Greater Noida and Shahberry.

CM Yogi said that a thorough inquiry should be conducted into how the construction swelled in Shahberry even after the court stay. The government will take strict action against the officials responsible for this. CM Yogi has said that all construction works that have been carried out since 2014 should also be made a list of officials responsible for the construction work. CM Yogi has directed that all constructions in Shahberry be audited and the process of demolishing the constructions which are unsafe should be done with immediate effect by the Authority.
