CM Yogi orders resumption of OPD closed for 2 months as corona slows down

Lucknow: The second wave of corona in the country seems to be slowly weakening. Corona cases have declined across the country. Up is also registering less than 1500 new corona cases for the first time in the last two months. After the decline in new cases of corona infection, the Yogi Adityanath government in UP has now decided to restore the services of general OPD lying closed in hospitals to the general public.

OPD services under corona protocol at primary health centre and community health centre in UP is set to begin today. OPD services to the general public have been suspended for the past two months. The government has directed to open OPD services to the masses as the second wave of corona slows down. According to the new directive, surgical OPDs will also be introduced to operate on patients so that pregnant women do not face any problem.

State CM Yogi Adityanath has held a high level meeting in a virtual manner. In which he has directed the permission of a limited number of patients in General OPD coming to medical colleges and health department hospitals.
