Kolkata: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has arrived in the state today to lead the election campaign to give the edge to the Mission Bengal of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is addressing an election rally in the Muslim-dominated Malda district. Before reaching Bengal, Yogi had tweeted from his official Twitter handle and said, 'Namaskar Bengal ... I am privileged to be present among all of you today on the awakening ground of Sanatan culture. My salute to the heroic land that awakened the national consciousness of the entire country with the immortal proclamation of Vande Mataram ... Jai Shri Ram. '

While addressing the public meeting, Yogi Adityanath said that ''Malda is the eternal land of India, I salute it. I consider myself blessed that I came to this holy land of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Bengal has been a land of change. This is the land of Goddess Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. Which gave India the national anthem. This land gave India the first Nobel Prize. There are situations of anarchy in Bengal today, which hurts the whole country. The BJP has to pursue a new change by taking power in Bengal.''

CM Yogi said in the rally that it is the seat of the traditional culture of Bengal and change should be brought from here in Bengal. Where is Bengal leading India today? Today there is anarchy, terrorism, and corruption in Bengal. Today, power-sponsored crime and terrorism in Bengal is not only posing a threat to security here, but it also seems to challenge the security of the country.
