Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yogi Adityanath Corona has been found infected. He himself has given information about this by tweeting. CM Yogi has written in his official tweet that 'I noticed the covid on initial symptoms and my report has come back positive. I am in self-isolation and fully following the consultation of physicians'.

Significantly, the news of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav getting corona infected came out shortly before. He tweeted on Wednesday that wrote, 'My corona test report has just come up positive. I have separated myself and treatment has started at home, those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, the most humble request is to get them investigated. They are also requested to remain in isolation for a few days'.

SP chief was feeling a mild fever for a few days, after which he got a corona check done on Tuesday. Akhilesh reached Niranjani, Shri Panchayati Akhara in Haridwar on Sunday and met the National President of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, Shri Mahant Narendra Giri. After Narendra Giri's corona report came out positive, the health has deteriorated. He has been admitted to the hospital. During the meeting on Sunday, Narendra Giri blessed Akhilesh by garlanding him with flowers and wearing a shawl.
