Kanpur: For the past few days, many cases are coming from the state of Uttar Pradesh, in the same state, the political stir has also increased a lot. Also, strict orders are being implemented by CM Yogi against the incidents happening. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Yogi has ordered action against two officers after revising the city jail under construction in Etawah for two times in cost and the maximum increase in funds.

In this connection, a directive has been issued by the Chief Minister's Office to institute departmental disciplinary proceedings against the current project manager and local engineer, UP State Construction Corporation, Etawah. With this, CM Yogi has directed that the character of the contractor should also be investigated in this episode. If found guilty, strict punitive action should also be taken against them. He has also ordered strict action against the culprits.

On the other hand, 7042 new patients of COVID-19 have been found in the state on Thursday. Additional Chief Secretary Medical Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that the number of active patients in the state is 66,317 and out of these 35,036 are in home isolation. At the same time, a total of 2,21,506 people have been completely recovered and discharged. The recovery rate in the state is 75.85 percent. Additional Chief Secretary said that 1,49,311 samples were investigated in the state yesterday (Wednesday). A total of 70,66,208 samples have been investigated so far. The situation may become more frightening due to increasing cases in the state.
