Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday gave a huge gift to the people of the state. He inaugurated PepsiCo India's largest greenfield food manufacturing plant at Kosi Kalan in Mathura at a cost of Rs 814 crore. According to reports, this is PepsiCo's largest investment in the country, which is expected to, directly and indirectly, employ more than 1,500 people. At the same time, it will benefit more than 5,000 farmers.

Speaking at the inauguration of the food manufacturing plant, CM Yogi Adityanath said, "I am very happy to inaugurate this unit. I am sure this investment will not only benefit PepsiCo but will also provide new employment opportunities for the youth. This will help in achieving the goal of self-reliance. Kosi Kalan is recovering from its image and entering a new era today.''

CM Yogi further said, "This is the same Kosi Kalan where riots broke out in 2012. At that time, there was a huge loss of public money. When thinking is negative, riots, chaos, and chaos spread. When the government's thinking is positive, investment increases. This investment generates employment opportunities.''
