Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath reached Bhadohi on the last day of the year and inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 15 projects worth Rs 197.21 crore, including the Carpet Expo Mart. During this time, he addressed a public meeting for about half an hour, where he surrounded the opposition parties fiercely.

CM Yogi said on Thursday that this will bring the carpet market to Bhadohi through the Expo Mart. Welcoming the skills of carpet weavers, CM Yogi said that Bhadohi accounts for 80% of the carpet exports of the entire country on the basis of entrepreneurs and handicraftsmen. This in itself is a big achievement. Bhadohi's name has risen with pride all over the world. CM Yogi further stated that till 2014 why farmers did not receive the Samman Nidhi. Why were the works not done for Ayushman Yojana, One District-One Product (ODOP), Self-Employment Scheme, Women Safety etc.

CM Yogi himself said that because farmers, labourers, women, youth were not on the agenda of the previous governments, but were working on the agenda of casteism, regionalism, familyism. He further said that under a district-one product scheme, efforts are being made to strengthen the local level identity.
