Sonbhadra: The political storm continues over the genocide at Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, CM Yogi Adityanath visited Sonbhadra and made an emotional meeting with the victims in Umbha village. The CM Yogi has also announced an increase in the compensation to the next of kin of the deceased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 18.50 lakh. CM Yogi said that 2.5 lakh rupees will be given to the family members of the injured person. At the same time, he attacked the opposition with a series of announcements.

On the Sonbhadra tour, CM Yogi along with BJP state unit president Swatanter Dev Singh, Chief Secretary Anup Chandra Pandey, DGP OP Singh, Principal Secretary Information Avanish Awasthi were present. As soon as CM Yogi reached Ubha village, he first met the victim's family one by one. At least 10 people were killed and 28 others injured in the carnage at Sonbhadra on Wednesday.
