Lucknow: Lockdown 2.0 implemented in the country is ending today due to Coronavirus epidemic, while the third phase of lockdown will continue from May 4 to 17. However, during this time the Ministry of Home Affairs has given permission to the states to bring back the migrant laborers trapped in other states. The Uttar Pradesh government had already recalled students stranded in Kota of Rajasthan and migrant workers from Haryana. labor was also brought back from Delhi.
All the laborers being brought from other states were being kept at the Quarantine Center. Now the state government has decided to send healthy laborers to the home quarantine after screening at the Quarantine Center. UP CM Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting with officials on Sunday and gave these instructions. CM Yogi said that healthy workers should be given ration kits and sent to home quarantine.
CM Yogi asked to provide good and adequate food in every quarantine center. Along with this, it was also instructed to keep an eye on the Quarantine centers. He also urged for special vigilance in view of the spread of infection by police and security forces. CM Yogi also instructed the officials that what will be open and closed during the third phase of lockdown.
