Lucknow: UP CM Yogi Adityanath has left for Ayodhya on Friday to celebrate a grand festival. During this, including the international airport project of Ayodhya, more than a dozen development projects are expected to meet on Diwali. On the occasion of Deepotsav in Ayodhya, an attempt has been made to set a world record by burning 5.51 lakh earthen lamps along the Saryu river bank. In this regard, the District Magistrate of Ayodhya said that CM Ji will arrive at 3 o'clock. After that the main event will be lighting the lamp at Ramlala, there will be a Bharat Mila on the Saryu coast, the main event is at 6 o'clock after the Saryu aarti.
According to the information received, Ram's Paidi is going to be decorated with Rangoli and Diyas for this Deepotsav program to be held in Ayodhya. Today, 5.51 lakh lamps will be burnt, volunteers have come forward to count the lamps. The Shobha Yatra is being carried out ahead of the Deepotsav program in Ayodhya today. On the other hand, according to the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, virtual Deepotsav has been arranged in Ayodhya this year as a precaution due to Coronavirus epidemic.
Devotees who are unable to reach Ayodhya on Diwali can burn a lamp in front of Shri Ram Lala Virajaman through the website. UP Tourism Minister Neelkanth Tiwari said on Saturday that the Deepotsav is going to be held for the first time at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. In Ayodhya Deepotsav 2018, lighting 3 lakh 1186 lamps was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. After which, in 2019, 4 lakh 9 thousand 965 lamps have been lit and a record is made.
