New Delhi: The price of CNG and PNG had reached the seventh sky last day and after this, relief is expected after a long time. In fact, a decision of the government can bring good news to the customers. Let us tell you that the government allocated some quantity of natural gas from industries to city gas distribution companies to reduce the price of CNG and PNG price. Yes and this is expected to bring down the price in the coming time.

In a notification issued by the Petroleum Ministry, it amended the earlier order to increase the allocation of domestically produced gas to gas distributors. At the same time, officials said the allocation for gas distribution companies in cities like Delhi's Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and Mumbai's Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has been increased from 1.75 crore cubic meters per day to 2.078 crore cubic meters. The increased allocation will meet 94 per cent of the country's demand for piped cooking gas and CNG supply for vehicles. Till now, about 83 per cent of the demand was met through this and the remaining allocation was met through the import of LNG by GAIL.

Apart from this, officials said that gas distributor companies had complained about the arrangement of imported LNG at high prices. In fact, he said that due to this, the prices of CNG and piped cooking gas are increasing repeatedly. Let us also tell you that the price of CNG was increased by a bumper Rs 4 per kg in Indraprastha Gas Limited Last Time Delhi. At the same time, the price has reached Rs 75.61 per kg. On the other hand, the PNG rate in Delhi is running at 50.59 per cent SCM.
