Prices for compressed natural gas (CNG) have been raised in several cities beginning at 6 a.m. today (March 8). CNG prices in Delhi-NCR and other cities have been raised by 50 paise-Re 1 per kg. In Delhi, the price of one kilogramme of compressed natural gas has risen to Rs 57.51 per kilogramme, up from Rs 57.01 previously.

CNG per kg rates in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad have increased by Rs 1, from Rs 58.58 per kg to Rs 59.58 per kg. CNG prices in Gurugram and Rewari have risen by 50 paise today, to Rs 65.88 per kg and Rs 67.98 per kg, respectively. Prior to the price increase, one kilogramme of CNG cost Rs 65.38 in Gurugram and Rs 67.48 in Rewari.

CNG prices were raised by Rs 1 in both Karnal and Kaithal districts, from Rs 63.28 per kg to Rs 64.28 per kg. CNG prices in Kanpur were raised by Rs 1 from Rs 67.82 per kg to Rs 68.82 per kg, while CNG costs Rs 67.81 per kg in Ajmer after a 50-paise increase.

CNG prices were last raised on October 13, 2017. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) informed customers of price increases in cities such as Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, and Noida, among others.
