New Delhi: The date of election of BCCI state associations has been extended. The COA i.e. Committee of Administrators has increased the election date from 14 September to 28 September. The COA has now made it clear that the deadline will no longer be extended as notice for the BCCI elections is to be given 21 days in advance for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on October 22. If the date will be seen 21 days before 22 October, then it comes out on 30 September.

The COA said that there has been no change in the date of BCCI elections. State associations can send their representatives' names till 28 September 2019 for BCCI elections. He said that all the state associations which have not sent their revised constitution to the Committee of Administrators for approval and not elected the Election Commissioner for elections have not sent a notice for elections, they should complete all these things before September 12. The COA has made it clear that any further appeals for extension of dates will not be entertained. The COA stated that it was receiving appeals for extension of the election dates.
