After 170 RT-PCR tests conducted between the players and all the coaches living inside the premises, a report of 4 cases has been found to be infected. Three junior athletes and a coach are also present in 4 cases of infection.

According to reports, a Sports Authority of India (SAI) official said, "170 RT-PCRs of players and all coaches have also been tested at NSNIS Patiala on Tuesday under the Corona Virus Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of SAI. The results of which have revealed that 3 junior players and one coach have been found infected with corona virus. All four do not have symptoms of the disease and are all in solitary confinement under the SOP. ’
