HYDERABAD: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) said on Thursday that it will invest Rs 1,000 crore in the second factory in Telangana. At the Food Processing Park in Bandathimmapur, Siddipet district, a plant for carbonated beverages, juices, and water will be built.
At an event with the business's leadership, Telangana's minister for industries K.T. Rama Rao said the company will invest Rs 600 crore in the facility in the first phase and another Rs 400 crore in the second phase, bringing the total investment to Rs 1,000 crore in the next five years.

This will be HCCB's second bottling facility in Telangana. This will more than increase the company's manufacturing capacity, allowing it to meet the region's sales for the next ten years.
The state government has set aside 49 acres for the planned factory. Under the state's self-certification industrial policy, the minister promised the enterprise that they may proceed with the construction without waiting for approvals.
Minister KTR said that the facility will employ a large number of people. He applauded the company's announcement that women will make up more than half of its workforce. By the end of 2023, the company hopes to be up and running.
