Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department in Hyderabad has issued a cold wave warning for the next three days due to fur and strong winds forming 0.9 km north of the Komrin region.

The sudden downpour on Wednesday night caused cold waves in some parts of Telangana. Due to the cold weather conditions in most parts of the state on Thursday, people were trembling and severe cold prevailed in most parts of the state as the rains continued till dawn on Thursday.

Areas like Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Rangareddy, Yadadri Bhongir, Jogulamba Gadwal and Medchal Malkajgiri received light to moderate rains on Wednesday night.

On the other hand, districts like Adilabad and Kamareddy recorded the lowest temperature on Wednesday. Adilabad has a minimum temperature of 14 C and Kamareddy has a low of 15 C.
