Cold adds to people's woes, collector and SP roam to see arrangements

Chhatarpur: Cold wave conditions continue to prevail in many parts of the country and severe cold wave conditions have started in Madhya Pradesh. People are also afraid to leave their homes. As people are forced to resort to bonfires on the roads, arrangements are being made by the administration for those forced to stay outside. In Chhatarpur, district collectors and SPs took to the streets to see the arrangements themselves.

He inspected the bus stand and inspected the arrangements made by the municipality to protect them from the cold. He also interacted with the passengers and enquired about the arrangements. The minimum temperature has gone up to 1.2 degrees celsius due to cold wave conditions in the district. District Collector Sandeep GR and SP Sachin Sharma gave blankets to the elderly who were heating up and inspected the city roads and directed the municipality to make arrangements for the people who stand late at night.

It may be recalled that the cold wave conditions in MP have started increasing at a rapid pace. Cold wave conditions will not be able to get rid of severe cold wave conditions in the near future. The temperature is falling sharply in 14 districts of the state including Bhopal. The temperature in many cities has dropped sharply in the last 24 hours. The lowest temperature was recorded at Nagaon. The temperature was 1.3 degrees Celsius.
