Amaravati: During the review meeting, the Chief Minister said that the government has partnered with big companies like ITC, Reliance and Amul to support women entrepreneurs. The Chief Minister said that the previous government had promised to repay the outstanding loans and had cheated the women by asking them not to repay the loans. Similarly, in the first installment through YSR Cheyutha, about 3 lakh women have started retail shops, businesses like cattle, buffalo, sheep and goat rearing.

In the second phase, the government aims to create employment opportunities for 2,21,598 women. Officials said that the list of beneficiaries of the second installment has been socially audited and the lists have also been displayed in the village secretariats. Officials said that more than 8 lakh DWCRA groups have got benefits under the Aasara scheme. The state government has given financial assistance of Rs 6330.58 crore to the groups in the first installment.
