After the sales fell in lockdown, the resurgent Hero has launched the Hero Xtreme 160R. The Hero Xtreme 160R is going to compete with the TVS Apache 160 BS6 in the market. Today we are going to provide special information by comparing the features of both bikes.

The Xtreme 160R has a 160cc air-cooled BS6 engine that generates a power of 15 Hp at 8500 Rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6500. In terms of power and specifications, the TVS Apache RTR 160 BS6 has a 159.7cc single-cylinder BS6 engine that generates 15.2 Ps of power at 8000 Rpm and 13 Nm of torque at 6500 Rpm. Talking about the gearbox, the engine of Apache RTR 160 is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Talking about the braking system, the Xtreme 160R has a choice of 276 mm Petal Disc in front, single-channel ABS and 220 mm Petal Disc or 130 mm drum brake in the rear. Talking about the braking system, the TVS Apache RTR 160 has a 266 mm disc brake in the front and 220 mm disc brake in the rear.

The Xtreme 160R has telescopic (37 mm Dia) with anti-friction bush in the front and 7 step ride-adjustable mono-shock suspension in the rear. In terms of suspension, TVS Apache RTR 160 BS6 has been given dual shock with nitrox in the front and rear. In terms of dimensions, the Xtreme 160R has a length of 2029 mm, width, 793 mm, height 1052 mm, wheelbase 1327 mm, seat height 790 mm, ground clearance 167 mm. Talking about dimensions, TVS Apache RTR 160 has a length of 2085 mm, width 730 mm, height 1105 mm, wheelbase 1300 mm, ground clearance 165 mm, curb weight 139 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
