Declaration of compensation: The government has announced compensation to the families and the casualties of the victims. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the people killed and the Ministry of Railways has compensated Rs 3.5 lakh. At the same time, compensation of Rs 50 thousand will be given to the injured.

These trains are canceled: After this accident, many trains passing through Khatauli track have been canceled. The train number 14521/14522 from Ambala to Delhi has been canceled. Train number 18478 Kalinga-Utkal express from Haridwar to Puri has been canceled. Train number 14682 The train comes from Jalandhar to New Delhi, which has been canceled.
