After the delay in the beginning of the session due to Coronavirus, the deadline for compulsory closure of Formula One has been extended by two weeks. The World Motorsports Steering Association FIA confirmed this. The FIA had previously kept it closed for 21 days, but now it has been extended to 35 days. During this time, no employees involved in activities related to cars will work. The FIA said in a statement that this decision has been unanimously approved by all stakeholders of Favan. "In view of the current global impact of Covid-19, discussions will be held between the FIA, Formula One and all teams on this subject," the statement said.
