Once again the challenge of livelihood has come in front of them. Due to this, these laborers have started migrating again to other states. The government has allowed trains to operate under Unlock 1. Since then, migrant laborers from various districts of Bihar have started migrating to other states. To take these laborers back to industrial units, arrangements are also being made by the owners. One such case came up in Purnia district of the state, where their boss sent a bus to take laborers from the district to Panipat.

In his statement, a laborer returning to Panipat told that we are going to Panipat due to livelihood. After getting permission from the government, a big farmer has sent a bus to take us. There is a compulsion to feed the family ahead of us, due to which we have to ignore the danger of Covid-19. According to the information received, thousands of migrant laborers have left for Punjab, Haryana, Mumbai and Gujarat via train and bus in the last one week. Thousands of laborers are following the state every day.
