NEW DELHI: Anurag Thakur, a Union minister, stated on Tuesday that the Congress does not look beyond the Gandhi family. In an interview with the media, Thakur stated that members of the Gandhi family had already witnessed the fruits of their labours.

"Their accounts are not being opened, and their deposits have been lost. Initially, Rahul was in charge, but the party was unable to establish a bank account in West Bengal. In Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra headed the party, but it lost the deposit and could only win two seats. Sonia Gandhi is now the Prime Minister of India "Thakur said. He went on to say that leadership positions are only available to a particular family, regardless of their aptitude or potential.

"Congress will not be able to find a way out of crisis until it finds a solution to this question," Thakur remarked.

Thakur asserted that the people have picked the correct leadership after the BJP's victory in the recent Assembly elections in five states. "People have picked the right leaders, and the country is moving on the right path as a result. The leadership worked hard to secure 180 million vaccine shots and a two-year free ration for 80 million people "he stated.
