Bengaluru: The results for three Lok Sabha seats and two Assembly constituencies in Karnataka will be declared on Tuesday as counting are underway. Worth mention here Bypolls in Bellary (ST), Mandya and Shimoga parliamentary constituencies and Jamkhandi and Ramanagara Assembly segments in Karnataka were held on Saturday.

In Karnataka the grand old party Congress workers celebrate outside the counting station in Bellary. Congress' candidate VS Ugrappa is leading by 184203 votes in the parliamentary seat.

INC's AS Nyamagouda leads by 32933 votes in Jamkhandi. JDS's Anitha Kumaraswamy leads by 82928 votes in Ramanagaram,BJP's BY Raghavendra leads by 36467 votes in Shimoga,INC's VS Ugrappa leads by 184203 votes in Bellary & JDS LR Shivaramegowda leads by 121963 votes in Mandya.

NC's AS Nyamagouda leads by 32933 votes in Jamkhandi. JDS's Anitha Kumaraswamy leads by 65990 votes in Ramanagaram,BJP's BY Raghavendra leads by 32563 votes in Shimoga, INC's VS Ugrappa leads by 151060 votes in Bellary & JDS LR Shivaramegowda leads by 76952 votes in Mandya.

It is may be noted that out of the five, the JD-S contested from Mandya and Shimoga Lok Sabha seats and the Ramanagara Assembly seat, whereas the Congress did from Jamkhandi and Bellary (reserved). Around 67 per cent voter turnout had recorded in the bypolls for five constituencies.
