New Delhi: These days farmers are engaged in demonstrations. Farmers have been protesting against the new agriculture law of the Central Government for a long time. It has been almost 11 days and since these 11 days, the farmers sitting on the streets in the fierce cold are seen constantly asking to withdraw the new agricultural law. So far, several parties have come in support of the farmers. The farmers have also announced the Bharat Bandh on December 8 during their demonstration.

In the meantime, Congress also said on Sunday that we also have support for the Bharat Bandh called by the farmers' organizations. Simultaneously, Congress also said, 'Our workers will work to make Bharat Bandh a success.' Recently, Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda said, "To make the Bharat Bandh of farmers successful, the party workers will work with the farmers at tehsil level across the country to make the event successful".

He also said that the Congress stands with the farmers and will protest with the farmers at all state headquarters, district headquarters and tehsil headquarters against any injustice happening to them and will make strong efforts to make Bharat Bandh a success. Apart from Congress, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has also expressed his full support to the farmers' call for 'Bharat Bandh'. He has recently given a statement in which he said, 'TRS will actively participate in the proposed bandh. The new agricultural law will cause widespread damage to the interests of farmers, which is why his party opposed it in Parliament.'
