The Samajwadi Party and the Congress will have an alliance for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elctions that are scheduled to held in February. Though, there is no official announcement made by both the parties.

As per the reports, it is said that the Grand old party Congress has agreed to contest the elections in 105 seats who earlier wanted 110 seats. Both the parties is said to have worked out and solve the differences between them.

Congress leader Ahmed Patel tweeted “Wrong to suggest lightweights were dealing on behalf of Cong. Discussion was at highest level-b/w CM(UP),GS I/C&Priyanka Gandhi”.
