The Assembly has been debating the vote of confidence since Thursday. Governor Vajubhai Wala has sent a second letter to CM HD Kumaraswamy of the province on Friday asking him to prove his majority in the Assembly by 6 pm. Earlier, the Governor had extended the deadline till 1:30 p.m. on Friday to prove kumaraswamy's majority. But the floor test did not take place in the Assembly during this timeframe. On this, Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar said that there can be no vote of confidence till the debate is over.
