Meanwhile, the Congress party has launched a scathing attack on the Central government over the large number of drugs being seized at Mundra port in Gujarat. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala has questioned who is ordering so many drugs in the country and what the investigating agencies are doing.

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala held a press conference on the entire controversy on Wednesday. The Congress leader said that the world's largest drug scam has come to light, heroin worth 21,000 crores rupees has been recovered at the port and where are those who have not been caught. The Congress leader questioned why NCB, ED, DRI were all asleep. Why is there no investigation as the Mundra port where all these have been recovered is operating near Adani Group?

Congress leader Randeep Surjewala said that the consignment of heroin drugs has not been seized and is now throwing the youth of India into the market under the fire of drugs. It may also be recalled that in July 2021 also, Delhi Police had recovered drugs worth Rs.2,500 crores of 354 kg of heroin. In May also, Delhi Police recovered 125 kg of heroin. Randeep Surjewala said that the question is who is the crocodile in the country which is ordering the world's biggest heroin drugs worth Rs 21,000 crores and Rs 1,75,000 crores.
