Bhopal: Congress has enacted a new rule for leaders for the civic elections in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. According to the information received, in this rule, it has been said that "Any local leader who wants to contest the election and is seeking ticket must sign an affidavit of the party." Now talk about the affidavit, so according to this, if they do not get the ticket, then they will not rebel against the party. According to the information received, the former minister in-charge of Rewa Municipal Corporation Harsh Yadav is getting leaders from the Congress office to sign these affidavits.

Congress has prepared a new guideline for local leaders according to which it is mandatory to give affidavits to all the claimants. In this affidavit, it is written that 'They will work according to the principles of the party and in the event of not getting tickets, neither will they leave the party nor will there be any rebellion with the party.' This promissory note is also being taken from the mayor and the contending leaders of the councilors.

Regarding this, Harsh Yadav said, 'This is an internal matter of the party and the whole process is to maintain discipline in the party.' The Congress is preparing to formulate a strategy on 22 February to surround the government in the budget session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The meeting of the legislative party is going to be held at 7 pm on 22 February at the residence of former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Kamal Nath. During this time decisions will be taken on the issues which the party will take up prominently.
