Kochi: The stabbing murder of Student Federation of India (SFI) worker Dheeraj Rajendran at the Government Engineering College in Idukki, Kerala, has been termed as 'karma' by Congress spokesperson Shama Mohammed. Let us inform that the Kerala Youth Congress workers accused of murder have been arrested by the police. Terming the SFI student's murder as 'karma', social media users termed his behavior as 'disgusting' and 'sick mentality'. Shamelessly, despite being heavily criticized on social media, Congress spokesperson Shama has neither deleted her tweet nor apologized. At the same time, so far no response has been seen from the Congress party.

It is noteworthy that Dheeraj Rajendran, a resident of Kannur, was an SFI worker. It is being told that Dheeraj was killed by Youth Congress worker Nikhil Pali. In this case, the police have arrested Nikhil Pally and Jerryn Jijo. Regarding this incident, the police had told that due to the ongoing elections in the college, such clashes have been happening and it is a matter of political rivalry. However, the student unit of the CPM took out a front against the killing of the SFI worker and there was violence at that time as well.
