The Congress and Communist parties have been targeted by BJP National General Secretary Murali Dhar Rao, alleging that by spreading confusion over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). These parties are doing the work of setting fire in the country by mixing with chaotic elements. In a seminar on the Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 on behalf of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Trust on Saturday at Teachers Bhawan in Jammu, the Congress said that the way the Muslim League played before the partition of the country, the same role is currently being played by the Congress. Rahul Gandhi is speaking the language of Imran Khan. Even while removing Article 370, the role of Congress remained similar to that of the Muslim League. The Communist Party is even more dangerous in this case. They want to divide the country into many pieces.

According to media reports, BJP will never compromise with nationalism. CAA is a law of giving citizenship. It has nothing to do with the citizenship of Indian Muslims. The Hindus of India are as much as of the Muslims living here. Minorities of Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, which include Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, etc. are living in India as victims of torture in these three Islamic countries. The CAA is there to give citizenship to them.

Apart from this, in his statement, he said that Congress, Communists, and their allies sometimes say that citizenship should be given to Muslims, sometimes to the Tamils of Sri Lanka and sometimes to the Rohingyas of Myanmar. Rao said that the decision has been taken in the interest of minorities of Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan, which were once part of our nation. If needed in the coming time, amendment in citizenship law can be decided in the interest of minorities of other countries.
